Do I need to decide what my blog is about?

Added a post Nov 23 2007

I think that how much you should adhere to certain formats depends very much on what your aims are for your blog as well as your topic. The extent to which you need to analyze and plan is proportio... Read More »

Do you think it's rude not to leave comments behind?

Added a post Nov 18 2007

I do not think it is rude not to leave comments. I love receiving them but I reckon that I should not expect anything in return. I just hope that what I write if of interest to encourage people to ... Read More »

I am really appreciating being able to take place in such a challenge as this. Moving across from a blogspot blog to a Wordpress blog on my own domain and posting instructions about it at the same time is something that needs a fair bit of work and consistent blogging. After building up my pagerank etc I am having to start from scratch with the new blog - the more work I put in the quicker it will be at the stage the blogspot blog was at. I hope! NaBloPoMo is an added incentive for me to work ha…

My November Resolution

I will post every day in November and hopefully get into the habit of more regular posting after that.

As I am in the midst of moving my blog from .blogspot to Wordpress on my own domain where I will be doing this blogging is uncertain. Depends how quickly I do the move. You will find them by heading for my blogspot blog Sueblimely Discovering Blogging.

I am going to be blogging about this group and inviting others to join. Why sho…

Thanks for stopping by my blog with words of wisdom. There are quite a few Seychellois in Oz, and I have a friend who is a nurse in Melbourne.

It's a cruel truth that the world is so small, yet those we love can be so far away.

My family has been terrible about getting into Skype and such, and my Internet connection here ... powered by a lazy fruit bat, apparently ... is too slow to make the experience much more than a practice in frustration. Contact is, however, much better than it was when I first came here in '93, and that does help.

Haha! What you don't know is that I'm a MASTER PROCRASTINATOR! I had my painting stuff sitting around forever. I kept thinking I would wait until my cabinets were installed. Then when I realized that it might be awhile before my kitchen is actually done I decided to go ahead. I do not actually ever pay full price for paint, so I have the luxury of being able to paint even if I know I want to change the color in a few months. I only pay between 1 and 3 dollars a gallon because I buy the paint that others return because they don't like the color or ??? It's the same expensive paint that the original buyer bought at 26 or more dollars per gallon. I just keep going in and looking at the colors available. I painted the whole ouside of my house for only 30 dollars. I paid 2 dollars a gallon when they just happened to have 15 gallons of the color I wanted. I really do love painting, though. It's a creative outlet for me even if it only changes the color of the room.

Greeting from another geezer blogger. Depending on where you are in Oz, we might share an ocean. I'm in the Indian ... in Seychelles ... so if you're Perth-ish step out and give me a wave. I'll wave back.
