Hormones are a funny thing. First of all, you can’t control who you are attracted to. Lucky for me, I learned in high school not to let hormones make any decisions regarding a relationship (to have one or not) but they always narrow down your choices of people. I am a talker. I love to converse, especially about topics I’m interested in (travel or music for starters). To me, words are a tool. I use them to argue, to make people laugh, to get people to agree with me, to get people pumped up, to cheer people up, to help work through issues (work, relationships, whatever).
But I also have a nervous habit where I just keep talking and in romantic situations, this is not a good thing.

So something I have noticed lately is that almost all songs regarding love/romance/relationships fall into 4 categories:
1) the person singing is sad because they miss the person they were in a relationship with
2) the person singing is bitter because they either got dumped or they dumped someone who did something crappy (cheated, etc.)
