About Me:

Her identity somewhere between a dilettante and an aesthete, Becky marches to her own homemade drum. A visual designer-techie-crafter-blogger-gadfly-dillettante, she uses more than her fair share of hyphens. She has written and directed several short animations and films, including the 16mm minor opus Megathlon, an absurdist look at the parallels between “healthy” competition and fascist propaganda. As an actor, she has appeared in several Bay Area film productions, including John Dilley’s Little Failures, which was selected for the 2003 Sundance Film Festival. She performs in several improv groups including Ventura Area TheatreSports and epic-story duo The Babcocks, and regularly teaches her “craaaaft”. She holds more than more than 15 year’s experience in graphic design, which she parlayed into a successful print/web development and education career. After too much time toiling in the Bay Area as a geek in nonprofit, she resides in Ventura, where she splits her time between working in academia, performing improv, quilting, and eating whilst driving.
