Well, we're on the final stretch. Two or three more posts for most of us and we're done; we're over the finish line and reaching for the sports drinks, towelling off the sweat, and swapping horror stories of that really tricky bit not long before the final corner when we totally thought we were going to lose it.
Or is that stretching the metaphor a bit far? Am I getting a bit giddy with relief, with excitement, with fear of the Void...when there is no more NaBloPoMo? What will Life be…

I lost much of this morning in what I thought would be a brief "about me" post - nearly got caught by visitors mid-morning still in our PJ's, as I pattered away at the keyboard and quietly blessed ABC Kids TV. I hope I haven't set a precedent for myself - I don't intend to write so much every time, might be lucky to be undisturbed for so long next time!
Anyway, there it is....up and running, only 29 more days to go. I have no plan or strategy for how I'll get through the rest…
