Do you believe you can make a difference?

Hello Everyone, I start off my post with a question because I was so moved by watching the inauguration and listening to our new President’s speech.  I believe everyone in society has a purpose and somehow makes a difference in one, two, maybe several lives. The key is to find that purpose and accept it, share [...]

Sunday (New Series)

Times before were so different, it has all sunk in, I feel different in many ways.  Every day is a better day, yet I long for the past and at the same time look forward to today and tomorrow.  It was difficult to move on, after all life does go on.  There is no going [...]

Swollen throat glands, chronic fatigue, sensitivity to light, sound, etc.

Swollen throat glands and severe sore throats, Fatigue (sometimes chronic), fever, muscle pain, aching joints, headaches, night sweats, stomach aches, sensitized skin, eyes sensitive to light, cold hands and feet. While I cannot provide you with an answer as to what your next step should be, I can share my own experience and what works for [...]

Muscle Spasms Head to Toe..tips on what to try

Spasms are not new to me.  Try to take the stress off your muscles and correct imbalances from head to toe. Stand up and try to stretch out the spasm, I know,  easier said than done. * Slow down, pace activities and rest during the day, even lie down for your two 15-minute rest breaks. *  Try [...]

Central Sensitivity Syndromes

I would like to share some information I found on another site.  To read more about this post, go to: Wellsphere comments by Sandy R. Several years ago Muhammad B. Yunus, MD reported that ME/CFS & FM and other conditions such as IBS, migraines and multiple chemical sensitivities were all part of a larger group he referred [...]

Thankgiving, what is it about?

Thanksgiving day is a day to share your thoughts and love with everyone you know. A day to give thanks to our Lord for every miracle he has sent our way. Challenges in our lives only make us stronger. I believe we are given those challenges because we can handle them. Hopefully we learn from them and share our experience with others to help them when they are experiencing a challenge in their life.

I pray and hope that I have been able to share my own experience and thoughts in a way th… Continue

I am beaming, I am so proud and I love children. You are so brave and I am truly sorry you had to experience and are experiencing such a difficult illness. I am always happy to hear when someone is a survivor. It takes a strong person with a positive attitude to make it in this world with a chronic illness. I believe we all cross paths for a reason. I am so happy you are now my friend and I look forward to reading your blog.

Happy Thankgiving.

Hi there. You look like you're BEAMING in the picture, I love it! Congratulations!!!!! My mom said what Kelly's mom said too (previous commenter). Heh.

Great to hear you are such an advocate. I am one myself :-) I had Hodgkin's lymphoma (it's a cancer of the lymph system) 10 weeks after my wedding. I had just turned 24. Hell doesn't begin to describe the year following it. I'm all better now and have 2 kids!

I'm also part of the chronic illness group. Mine is colitis which is a GI problem, I must take medication daily. Even so, I have "issues" because over time my body become resistant to the drug and I need to get different ones..

It's nice to meet you. And look forward to getting to know you.

Viv!

Howdy :) Glad to hear from you! Lots of questions :) Some of it is a bit personal so will respond to those bits via email.

Firstly, congratulations in advance for the twins!

My suggestions are:
- fibroviv.com is good for NaBloPoMo because it will really raise the profile of your blog
- total number of posts is available from the dashboard in WordPress (Blog stats in the right hand column of the main dashboard page). Do you want to show it in the blog itself or just access this number yourself?
- fibroviv.com looks good - do you have a photo or other picture that I can make into a banner for you?
- stats are interesting. There are lots of different ways to do it - some people use plugins in WordPress to great effect, others find Google Analytics better. I'll email some options. You can see who links to your site from within Technorati - seeing who is visiting can work through mybloglog widgets if the person is a mybloglog member (or BUMPzee, or some other community thing).

Hope this helps, will email about the other stuff as soon as I can.

Best regards, Andrew

Great to hear that

You are going to be a GRANDMA tomorrow to twins?! What an awesome thing. I just wrote about my grandma on my site. I absolutely treasure my grandparents, and am so lucky to have such wonderful memories of them. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
