National Blog Posting Month
Maybe not. But probably.
I have so many accounts where I can blog, and I post different places depending on the subject, audience, privacy, what have you. I originally thought I HAD to post my blog on the ning site, and it was more private (because I shared the link less) so it worked because I could go on and on about certain *ahem* topics.
But this is it for ning, I believe. Here are the places you can find me:

If - and it's a big IF - my work/boss doesn't try to kill my spirit today, I just may have a shot at recovering from this dark patch.
Neck still sore (whether it's from the adjustment or the original pain I can't tell, will go back later in the week if needed) but my spirits are definitely brighter.

Work is extra annoying today. Can't go into more details cause I'm obviously AT work... but UGH!!!
Frustrated with feeling that this has to be a decent/real blog, although it really is serving no huge purpose other than try to win a prize and contemplating my life. And really no one but fiddlemama is reading it (and not sure why she still is ;o) LOL!) I both want more people to read it and for no one to read it, so I can act like a complete nutcase and not be embarassed next ti…

Meredith admits that she's not ready to stop seeing Derek. "And it's not about the sex, it's not...about the sex. It's about that moment afterward. When the world stops. I just feel so safe. So safe. I'm not ready to give that up. Does that make me sad and weak and pathetic?" Cristina admits, "A little bit." Meredith thinks about it and asks, "What do I do." Cristina, admitting defeat and whispering, "I don't know."

The terms depression refer to both expected and pathologically chronic or severe levels of sadness, perceived helplessness, disinterest, and other related emotions and behaviours.
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders states that a
depressed mood is often reported as being: "depressed, sad, hopeless,
discouraged, or 'down in the dumps'.

Blogging my way through NaNo will definitely be a new experience. Every year, I try to find new ways to challenge myself. So, I'll use this part of November to record my experiences as I push to finish not one but three novels in thirty days. Since my characters dominate my brain throughout the creative process, they will probably drive me up the wall.
To make the month even more interesting, my husband and son both have birthdays. Then there's Thanksgiving with the attendant family ce…

Went to the 7-11 today... I was over in Delaware to go to Borders to
look for some new books of poetry and some other piece-of-garbage book
on writing to semi-inspire me for NaNoWriMo. (I have a serious
addiction to these books on writing, which have succeeded in getting me
precisely nowhere. DinerGirl has published *nothing* to speak of, in
spite of Julia Cameron's wit and wisdom.)

I've been keeping up with the "post once a day" thing for NaBloPoMo, just on my regular blog, not here.
I suppose the logical thing to do would have been X-posting my blog posts into the blog on here, but that didn't occur to me 'til today. Guess I've been rather occupied with other things (can't imagine what....maybe *cough* the election!).
Anyhow, since I'm already 5 days in, I figure I'll just keep posting at my regular blog. So if anyone comes across this you can check it…

So, I just discovered NaBloPoMo online. It's like NaNoWriMo, only you don't have to write anything necessarily coherent and/or publishable, just write 31 posts in 31 days. A challenge! It's not easy! A friend of mine tried to do it back in May, and she failed miserably, making it through maybe a week before she gave up. Albeit, she was writing a chapter of her dissertation at the time, and really didn't have time to actually post about anything except the deadlines that were making her crazy.…

I am not an expert on political commentary but I do have some experience in dealing with human beings who can't get along. My head is about to pop off from all the arguing. Every time I turn on the TV or radio I hear one side blaming the other for the financial woes we are all going to pay for one way or the other. If I wanted to be tormented I would just open the door to the family room and listen to the kids bicker about who is taking up too much space on the couch. If

Eight years ago I didn't vote. To be honest I didn't care about it at all. I was 23 and politics was the last thing on my mind. I think the first time I ever registered to vote I registered myself as a Republican. Why? I guess because my parents were. Are. I'm pretty sure they are.
4 years ago I voted in my first presidential election. Instead of sticking to a party, because I had no idea if I was a Democrat or a Republican, I decided to look at each candidate and see who I agreed with…

Does Mommy Love It? YES! Princess Bubble By Mommy Zabs on September 30th, 2008 We all know the main elements of a fairy tale. First, we have the beautiful damsel in distress, then a handsome prince charming who rescues her, and finally, the life happily ever after. Perhaps there was no beautiful princess in distress, then would there still be a fairy tale? What does “happily ever after” really mean? In the book, Princess Bubble by Susan Johnston and Kimberly Webb, the fairy-tale is modernized.…

It's a great time to be an American woman, right?
Girls today can realistically consider every option as they map out their futures. They can run for president, be a professional athlete, CEO, mother or combination of these.
And little girls believe they can do anything. Just ask the nearest preschooler.
But then the world seems to…
