We're sorry, but this discussion has just been closed to further replies.
I'm happy to have you here. Please share what types of things you like to write and introduce yourself a bit.
I write articles for various places around the web on a wide range of subjects from parenting to urban sprawl to homemade skin and hair care. I also blog about grammar and syntax as well as writing in general. Then there's my too-neglected novel.
Between writing, reading everything I can get my hands on, and taking care of my family I lead a full life. Coffee is my friend. :) What keeps you going?
I write fiction (finished two novels; currently agent-shopping), erotica and articles on writing for Toasted Cheese. I'm trying NaNoWriMo, although I didn't get anything on paper yesterday ;)
Hey to all! Well let’s see what I write... anything and everything that enters my mind (which lately seems to be poetry.) I have written one non fiction book for teens that is in the editing process. Currently I am working on my first fiction towards that same audience. I am too an unpublished author with a dream!
What keeps me going? Coffee and Nap time! With home schooling three children the time is limited!
We homeschool, too! But just one -- the 3-year old just runs around like a crazy person. But my husband got laid off in March and now he's caring for the kids while I get a corporate writing business off the ground. It happens to give me more time for the writing I love, too. Now if I can just pay the bills, it'll all be good!!
I write parenting articles for several magazines nationwide, and some short fiction, too. I'm working on my second historical novel--I'm in the middle of a very heavy revision for a dream agent, and I think it's going pretty well.
I also volunteer as a librarian, mommy a two-year-old, housewife, and do some freelance Web design. I love to read, but have been very bad at making time for it, so this year a friend and I decided to read 50 books in a year. I'm on 47 right now, and it's been awesome.
I write at cafes and at home--I'm blessed enough to have an office of my own. www.elizatucker.com
Hi all---I guess I'm late joining this discussion. All of the talent and experience here is amazing (and a bit overwhelming, too)!
I love writing, enjoy blogging and photography. Currently, I'm back in school to finish up a degree in professional writing. I'm not sure this field will take me anywhere but I at least want to have a degree to fall back on. If nothing else presents itself, I'll continue on and finish a Master's Degree in Education. Perhaps a high school English teacher position is in my future?! ; )
