Badges

I have seen some cute, little badges on people's blogs for NaBloPoMo (pink/brown, blue/brown, yellow/brown. How do you get/make these? Also I have had absolutely no luck putting my badge in my sidebar. I use Wordpress. Any suggestions?

For an HTML badge, copy the code and paste it in as a text widget. The flash badges? Well, you're out of luck. Wordpress.com doesn't allow flash.

That was nice of you to add a tutorial!

I still need to get around to putting up a new badge on my site, but there are tons around that you can borrow. Also, if you have any luck with paint, photoshop, etc, they're easy to make yourself.

I've done a basic button below. Hopefully this isn't tempting fate. If anyone would like a recoloured version, feel free to ask and I'll do the recolouring for you.
