What are you bringing?

So, what are you guys packing?

I'm wondering if there will be extra time for spa treatments or to go to the gym.

I'm bringing some business/contact cards, business casual type clothes, and some books to read on the plane.

I'm coming from Boston, BTW.

All the way from Arkansas, I'm a-comin'. Providing I can get strong enough drugs from the doc in the meantime to allow me to get that far from home without a GI event. (TMI???)

I am packing super-light, and REALLY hoping that most folks are gonna be keeping it casual, because I am not going to be comfortable unless I'm in mah jeans.

Will be lugging giant laptop, giant camera, possibly video camera, and lots o' opiate-based gut drugs.

Hi Belinda-

I will probably wear jeans, corduroys, etc.. My professional life was working with college students, so I never assembled much of a professional wardrobe (or demeanor).

I'm just here to lower the bar for everyone else...

Laptop, mid-sized camera, water bottle, notebook, pen, swim fins and the world's least stylish swimsuit (I'd like to swim a few laps though this may be a pipe dream). I may have to organize some new business cards as my existing ones are beyond tacky.

Flying from Indiana through Cincinnati...

I will be bringing a week's supply of GasX for me, for YOUR pleasure. As for clothes, something nice for Ted, especially because he is gay, and I am bringing one casual skirt, my big question is bare legs or tights? The weather looks cool, but not as cool as the damned arctic in Edmonton. I will over pack, and just admit it now.

I am also bringing lots of candy. Because I can.

I ordered some blog business cards last Thursday and got them yesterday from www.123print.com. I was really pleased with the quality (I got the "cheapest"). I was really pleased with them. Nothin' fancy, but I will order more for my freelance writing.

I'm bringing super casual clothes (jeans & t-shirts and if the weather holds, some geeky turtlenecks), my iPod so I can OD on all those NPR podcasts I never get to finish on the plane and not much else because after having my luggage lost both ways for BlogHer 07, I will never check my bags again.

I'm cutting the electronic umbilical for a few days and leaving the laptop home after all. It just too heavy and I worry constantly about doing it serious harm.

Wish me luck. I'll be the lost looking woman with the shakes.
